Golden Upland Game 2005

This four generation family farm is a dramatic demonstration of agricultural practices that enhance wildlife abundance. Golden Upland Game is owned by a Dakota farmer who raises corn, soybeans, and hay. The grain fields are strip planted while over half of the land is in CRP, switch grass, sorghum and grasses. The farm has been practicing these methods for years and the successful pheasant hunting results are obvious.

HUNTERS HEADQUARTERS is the gathering room for pre-hunt Breakfast and post-hunt Social Hour. In addition it has a Pro Shop and Business Center. Coffee and Conversation begin here each morning before sunrise.

The amenities of the LODGE include four spacious bedrooms and baths, a 100 x 40 foot Game Room, Large Dining Room, TV Lounge, Wet Bar, Patio.

The EXECUTIVE SUITE is the original farm house. Moved to this site in the forties, it was completely remodeled in 2001 to include 3 full-size bedrooms, 1 master bedroom, great room, wetbar, fireplace, formal dining room, kitchen, double garage, deck and laundry room.

The LIGHTHOUSE Retreat Center boasts a Lakeside Dining Room, Fireside Lounge, Game Room, Board Room, Two-story Great Hall, and Eight Bedroom Suites. It is perfect for after-hunt corporate meetings.

From business meeting rooms overlooking the lake to fireplace lounges with top shelf beverages; from foosball and poker tables to big screen satellite TV; and from 3-4 person lodge rooms to private suites for couples- you and your group will be most comfortable.
